or need German skills for the extension of their residence permit.

This course is for individuals who already have an A1 certificate or equivalent knowledge. Whether you want to communicate better in everyday life, advance your career, or prepare for contacting authorities, apartment or job search, the Express Course A2 will help you take your German to the next level.
Ideal for employees, students, parents, and anyone who wants to continue learning effectively in a short amount of time. The course can be optimally combined with work and family thanks to fixed class days and flexible times.
The course is also suitable for those preparing for the ÖIF or ÖSD A2 exam.

The Express Course A2 is designed to achieve maximum progress with minimal time investment. The course takes place three times a week – for example, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – with 2 hours of lessons per day. This leaves Tuesday and Thursday free for work, family, or review.
The lessons consist of clearly structured learning blocks: review of A1 basics, introduction of new A2 topics, and intensive practice through conversations, writing tasks, and listening comprehension.
Compared to the A1 course, the focus is more on coherent speaking, expanding the active vocabulary, and creating simple texts.

Each week ends with a weekly review. You will receive regular learning checks to make your progress visible and continue working effectively.

What will you learn in the A2 course? (Learning Content)

The A2 course helps you become more confident in speaking, understanding longer sentences, and actively participating in conversations. You will learn the following:

● How to express yourself clearly in phone conversations
● Writing emails or short texts (e.g., requests, cancellations, invitations)
● Reporting past events (Perfect tense)
● Expressing your opinion or asking for help
● Holding simple discussions
Grammar focus: Separable verbs, perfect forms, modal verbs, subordinate clauses with “weil”, “dass”, “wenn”, comparative, dative prepositions.
Additionally, we will work on listening comprehension and reading comprehension using authentic materials. The everyday life in Austria (e.g., doctor’s visits, apartment hunting, working world) will also be linguistically covered.

The goal: active application instead of passive listening. Mistakes are welcome – because they lead to learning success. Our teachers provide continuous feedback and promote independent learning.

The lessons are based on a practice-oriented, communicative learning approach, especially suitable for advanced learners.
Instead of pure theory, the focus is on realistic dialogues, everyday situations, project work, and targeted deepening. Typical elements:

  • Simulation of phone conversations or job interview situations
  • Theme weeks with role-playing games (e.g., doctor’s office, apartment search)
  • Learning games to reinforce grammar
  • Group work with presentations of short texts or posters
  • Digital exercises, access to the learning platform, and listening training with online audios
